Welcome to See Shell Swimming! To make sure lessons are safe, enjoyable, and run smoothly, we ask that all families read and agree to the following before booking.
1. Lesson Location
All lessons take place in your own private swimming pool (or another approved pool). Your pool must meet WA safety regulations, including secure fencing and gates.
2. Parent/Guardian Supervision
A parent or legal guardian must be present for the entire lesson. You are responsible for your child’s safety outside of direct lesson time.
3. Health & Wellbeing
Please let Shelley know before the first lesson if your child has any medical conditions, allergies, or additional needs. Children who are unwell, contagious, or recovering from illness should not attend lessons.
4. Pool Condition
It’s your responsibility to make sure the pool is clean, safe, and at a comfortable temperature before each lesson.
5. Assumption of Risk
Swimming lessons involve some inherent risks. While See Shell takes every reasonable precaution to ensure safety, you acknowledge that injuries or accidents can happen and agree not to hold See Shell responsible for circumstances outside Shelley’s control.
6. Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you need to cancel, please give at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid being charged in full. Lessons may be rescheduled or cancelled in the event of unsafe weather (e.g., thunderstorms).
7. Payment
Payment is due prior to or on the day of the lesson, unless otherwise agreed.
8. Photos & Videos
No photos or videos will be taken during lessons without your prior written consent.
